Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Catapult's modern slavery and human trafficking statement.

Slavery, forced labour and human trafficking (‘Modern Slavery’) is a violation of fundamental human rights. It is a global issue and amongst the most widespread crimes in the world. Further, globally children are engaged in work that is dangerous or may cause harm to them mentally, physically, socially or morally, which also interferes with their education depriving them of their childhood and dignity (‘Child Labour’). We believe that every child deserves the rights set out in The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child “ UNCRC”. Therefore, we have a zero tolerance policy toward any form of Modern Slavery or Child Labour.

Supply Chain

Catapult continues to review and develop its policies and process to manage its supply chains to assess and manage modern slavery risks. As a consulting firm, which is people based, we have relatively straightforward direct supply chains, with the majority of products and services sourced from suppliers based in the European Union or the United States. Many of our direct suppliers have their own extensive supply chains, connecting us with many businesses worldwide.

We remain focused on assessing our high risk spend areas and on raising awareness across all our people to ensure all products and services are sourced and supplied responsibly and ethically.

We will terminate our relationship with clients, suppliers and other business partners when their business conduct is deemed to be a violation of the Modern Slavery Act or Child Labour laws (including but not limited to the Conventions re Minimum Age Convention, 1973 (No. 138) and Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention, 1999 (No. 182) as set out in International Labour Organisation (“ILO”) Fundamental Conventions.
