DevOps Institute Partner delivering DevOps Assessment
Catapult CX announces partnership with DevOps Institute, to provide the new Assessment of DevOps Capabilities and accelerate clients' DevOps journeys
Award-winning software engineering and digital transformation consultancy Catapult CX, have announced that they are the only UK solutions partner launching the DevOps Institute’s (DOI) Assessment of DevOps Capabilities (ADOC) today.
ADOC is a comprehensive, crowdsourced assessment based on the Likert scale and heat maps. It will give Catapult CX’s clients granular visibility into their current DevOps state, data analysis and a strong strategy to ensure optimal financial and resource investment in their DevOps journey. This enables clients to organise their teams around value streams and achieve continuous improvement, resulting in happier, more productive teams that deliver better quality products to market, faster.
The DevOps assessment is a five-dimensional model. The following are just some of the areas that are assessed in each dimension. Human Aspects takes a deep dive into every aspect of culture and psychological safety. Process and Frameworks assesses areas like agility, Project to Product and DevSecOps. Functional Composition looks at collaboration; architecture; and build, test and release. Intelligent Automation helps to eliminate error prone manual processes by appraising the CI/CD, AIOps, environments, observability and continuous compliance. The Technology Ecosystems dimension assesses elastic infrastructure, microservices, containers, DevOps toolchains, APIs and open, inner source and secrets management.
Catapult CX designs and builds bespoke software solutions and empowers clients’ teams to deliver a better experience to their own customers through Site Reliability Engineering, agile, DevOps, automation and cloud migration. ADOC will further enhance the organisation’s already impressive DevOps capabilities, which saw them named SME’s Agile and DevOps consultancy of the year 2020.
Catapult CX are also highly skilled Public Sector GCloud 12 suppliers. Their innovative software engineering capabilities and expertise in aligning execution to GDS standards resulted in them being awarded the only High Commendation in the Best Public Sector Project category at the BCS UK IT and the Digital Technology Leaders’ Awards 2020, for their digitalisation of the Maritime Coastguard Agency’s UK Ship Register.
Catapult’s Principal Consultant and DOI Ambassador Louise Cermak said,
