Cookies Policy
Cookies Policy
This cookie policy explains what cookies are used on catapult.cx and how you can manage your preferences.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it. We use both session-based and persistent cookies.
How we use cookies
We use three categories of cookies on this website.
Strictly necessary cookies
Essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as saving your cookie preferences.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __hs_cookie_cat_pref | HubSpot | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 6 months |
Analytics cookies
Set only after you give consent via the cookie banner. We use Google Analytics (GA4) and HubSpot.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors | 13 months |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains Google Analytics session state | 13 months |
| __hstc | HubSpot | Tracks visitors across sessions | 6 months |
| hubspotutk | HubSpot | Identifies a returning visitor | 6 months |
| __hssc | HubSpot | Tracks the current session | 30 minutes |
| __hssrc | HubSpot | Detects whether the browser session is new | session |
Advertising cookies
Set only after you give consent via the cookie banner.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| bcookie | Browser identifier for the LinkedIn Insight Tag | 1 year | |
| li_gc | Stores consent for advertising cookies | 6 months | |
| lidc | Data-centre routing | 1 day | |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Conversion measurement | 90 days |
Cookie names and durations above were verified from a browser session on 23 September 2026. Hotjar is not used by Catapult (confirmed 23 September 2026) and has been removed. Some third parties (HubSpot, LinkedIn) also set a short-lived __cf_bm bot-management cookie via their own infrastructure.
Managing your preferences
When you first visit the site, a cookie banner allows you to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site; the consent banner will appear again. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the site.
Disabling cookies
If you would like to restrict the use of cookies you can control this in your Internet browser. Links to advice on how to do this for the most popular Internet browsers are provided below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at info@catapult.cx.
