Agile Business Analyst

Part-time | Three Days | £30,000 to £45,000

Based in London

Catapult CX is currently looking for an Agile Business Analyst to join our growing team, located at our office five minutes away from Green Park. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 5 or more years experience looking to develop into a digital transformation BA working on challenging and complex systems.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in shaping product delivery, gathering requirements from stakeholders in a dynamic agile environment, show a high level of organisation and clarity of communication to ensure that requirements are fully understood by the delivery team.

You will predominantly work closely with the Agile Transformation Consultant but will have interaction with other team members, including software engineers to build customer experiences. Your role will be to provide product roadmaps, stakeholder management, analysis, requirements and documentation on data flows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop awareness of agile and DevOps methods and capabilities
  • Coach agile methods and tools
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders and raise appropriate issues to project leaders as necessary
  • Lead scope definition workshops
  • Facilitate process mapping, data model design, story mapping, release planning, and user personas
  • Write user stories, scenarios, acceptance criteria and processes using JIRA in a Behaviour Driven and Test-Driven Development and ensuring that the stories are written using INVEST principles
  • Identify & prioritise product roadmap activities with distributed stakeholders
  • Manage and prioritise product backlog for the development teams

You and Your Skills

  • Passionate about all the latest IT and Software developments available and show a strong affinity with user and customer experience
  • Proven experience of IT business analyst experience, ISEB/BCS-qualified
  • Use Lean (TPS) concepts to develop strategic processes and improve existing
  • Previous experience of working in an agile environment and using recognised development methodology; e.g., Agile, Scrum and Kanban. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) would be beneficial
  • Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to facilitate workshops with all staff levels
  • Proven track record of gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/functional specifications, gained on projects of considerable scale and/or complexity
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA or similar issue management systems
  • Broad understanding of software development methodologies
